New Episodes, Right in Your Inbox
Build, grow, and sustain a fulfilling writing business.
By writers, for writers. The Copywriter Collaborative Podcast digs into the nuances of running a business as a writer, so you can set yourself up for sustainable success. Your business should support your life, and that means creating an environment with clients who respect you, work you enjoy, and compensation that reflects your expertise.
Each episode tackles a different topic that pops up for copywriters and content creators who are running their own business. We dive into how you can reduce revision time, pricing yourself effectively, finding collaborative partners, and so much more.

Meet Your Hosts
Jessi + Marie grew up hearing the same old, tired response to their desire to write: “You’d better have a Plan B.”
For them, the assumption that writing couldn’t become a sustainable career felt like a challenge. So they co-founded North Star in 2010, with no idea what they were doing, and nowhere to turn.
Through a lot of trial and error, they managed to build a copywriting agency that brings in multiple six figures annually. They’ve evolved from a two-person show to a dedicated team, and they’ve become one of the go-to content firms for Brand Voice.
Now, they continue to support copywriting clients while also helping writers pursue their own careers and build their own businesses.
