TRANSCRIPT
Jessi:
Welcome to the Brand Your Voice podcast, where we're digging into how you can create personality driven content that connects and converts.
Jessi:
I'm Jessi.
Marie:
And I'm Marie. We're the co-founders of North Star Messaging and Strategy, where we support business owners in outsourcing content without sacrificing authenticity.
Jessi:
Every brand has a unique voice that sets it apart. We're digging into how to capture the way your brand communicates. From the words you use to the stories you tell. So you can create more compelling content that strategically helps you meet your business goals.
Marie:
And if you choose to outsource that content, you'll be able to do so with confidence, knowing your brand voice is in good hands and you can reclaim your time. We're so glad you're here and hope you enjoy this episode.
Jessi:
Welcome to episode Zero of the Brand Your Voice podcast. We're going to talk a little bit about what this podcast is, what you can expect and what will be coming out in the future.
Jessi:
So we created this podcast because we know, as content creators and copywriters, that content creation takes a lot of time for CEOs and business owners around the world. And there's a lot tied up in content creation. It's hard sometimes to know the ROI. It's hard to know what to track. It's hard to know whether the content is actually connecting with your audience in the way you want it to.
Jessi:
And on top of that, content creation is just one small piece of the entire business. And you have to make sure that that content is coming out consistently, that it has high quality, that you have a strategy in place that actually hits your strategic goals that is flexible in case things happen. And that is focused enough that you can measure the results.
Jessi:
All of this stuff takes a lot of time and a lot of energy. And when you put it into everything else that a business owner is doing, it can feel a little overwhelming.
Marie:
Exactly, however we promise it doesn't have to be that way at all the time. Imagine a system where you could capture your brand voice in a way that would actually allow you to outsource your content to another writer on your team or somebody that you hire and have confidence that it's really going to represent you and your values that you want to be front and center for your brands.
Marie:
Imagine the ability to plan your content in a way that truly is flexible when life life's, but it's also keeping you on goals so that you can actually understand the ROI of that content.
Marie:
You can assess whether it's actually connecting with your audience. You can see it actually turn into whatever the outcome is you're looking for. Imagine the ability to really feel confident that your content would be consistent and that it would develop real, genuine relationships, human to human.
Marie:
In fact, I know that people in our space really want their content to sound like a human, because it's a human after all behind the brand. And we want to make sure that our content is connecting with our audience and doesn't sound sleazy, especially when we're selling, but really all of the time.
Marie:
We want to be here in service. So all of these things that you may be imagining, it is possible.
Jessi:
Absolutely, and we're going to be talking about all of this and more during this podcast. We're going to dig deep into each one of these topics in detail, but we're going to keep it nice and short and bite-sized for you as well, because we know you're busy.
Jessi:
We'll talk about how to make it happen, whether you're already doing it and how to pull those pieces in and add new systems that will make it even easier. And it'll be effective, whether you're the person doing the content creation, or, if you're bringing someone else on to do it for you, or if you already have a team in place.
Marie:
Exactly, and as for why we're the ones to be sharing this with you. As we mentioned in the intro, I'm Marie, and this is Jessi, we're the co-CEOs of North Star Messaging and Strategy. And we've been doing this for 10 years, since 2012.
Marie:
So we have been working with hundreds of clients over that amount of time, from a range of industries, revenue ranges, missions, you name it. We've worked with really diverse clients, and we've consistently seen these methods work for them time and time again. So we're confident that it can work for you too.
