Now that you’ve gotten a bird’s eye view of your Content Strategy Intensive, let’s take a look at the process in more detail. We’ve divided your Intensive into three key phases:


Your Intensive will kick off with a look at what you have in place already so we have a better understanding of how to provide guidance.

This phase includes:

  • A pre-session questionnaire to clarify your vision and articulate your goals.
  • An initial review of any existing content or data you provide that’s directly related to your project or strategy.


    During this part of the Intensive, we’ll give you your content compass—the plan that will show you exactly where to go and how to get there.

    This phase includes:

      • A 60-minute call with a North Star launch specialist to dig into the details of your project and generate supportive recommendations.
      • Delivery of a customized content roadmap and suggested timeline based on your specific goals, providing you and your team with strategic direction on what to create, revise, or repurpose.
      • Positioning recommendations to help you approach content creation with the message to get your audience’s attention.
      • Up to 2 rounds of edits on your map to make sure it’s spot on.


    In this phase, we’ll wrap up the Intensive process by providing additional tools and support designed to help you execute your plan successfully.

    For this phase, you’ll receive:

    • Copywriting templates to help you create the content we’ve recommended.
    • Additional resources and tools we think might support you as they come up during your session. We’ll make sure you have the resources you need to be successful.
    • 2 weeks of additional Q&A support for questions as you dig into your content strategy.

      What specific strategy topics do you help with?

      If you’re using content to support your business, we can help. Our clients have used an intensive to plan blog strategy, outline a course, develop a structure for an upcoming book that showcases their expertise, and more. 

      We also have two deep-dive intensives specifically designed to help you prep for your next launch or optimize your email funnel.

      How long does the process take from start to finish?

      The process takes about four weeks, but the timeline may shift depending on your business and the extent of your project. 

      How far ahead of my project should I schedule my Intensive?

      Ideally, you should schedule your Intensive 2–3 months in advance. This will give you plenty of time to review your plan and make any necessary adjustments if the details of your project change.

      Will you write my copy?

      Copywriting isn’t included in this service, which is targeted toward strategy recommendations. That said, if you need help executing on your new strategy, we do offer a copywriting service for one-off projects, as well as a Content Strategy Consulting retainer with an option that includes both ongoing strategy and copywriting support. 

      What kind of results can I expect?

      Every business is different, so we can’t guarantee any specific results. Plus, your success will largely depend on what you do with the recommendations we provide. What we can guarantee is that we’ll give you a clear plan that will help you create content with confidence.
